The ultimate promise of this one is that if you can stay with the shadows, the mysteries will be revealed to you. Connections otherwise inaccessible are more easily made.

These flower essences were created at separate times in distinct locations, all in Florida. One in Winter Park, the other in Osteen. All holy, mighty, meaningful, leading to this moment. Black Eyed Susan is a flower I have worked with in essence form for some time. Initially, it was gifted to me by a friend and soon after I began to encounter the flower everywhere in my immediate landscape — the reticular activating system is very active in general but even more so when in communion with natural forces such as flowers. Black Eyed Susan calls us when we need a wake up call, rude or otherwise. Black Eyed Susan does not coddle nor accept pretense. Because of the potency of what Black Eyed Susan does in the psychoemotional and spiritual dimensions of our being, Jasmine was added to ease the effect and help one to clearly perceive the Gold in the Shadow. When the unpleasant aspects of the Self loom and make us feel like we have to retreat, Jasmine shows us the beauty and divinity of our being, reminding us of the process of refinement resulting of excavating for riches. The wealth is found in the dark, whether the dense soil or our storied souls.

"Night Light" also speaks directly to the colors of the flowers — Jasmine, white, fragrant and enchanting, Black Eyed Susan, bright yellow with a black core symbolizing the inspiration and motivation found in our depths. Both together support our shadows meeting the light of transformation, an alchemical marriage.
