Zora Neale Hurston’s ‘Crow Dance’ has been resonating in my heart & head since I first saw and heard it. Some time later I’d heard Alice Walker say that Zora loved Gardenia flowers and the color Red. It was also when I discovered a children’s book that was adapted from Zora’s short story titled Magnolia Flower. The season was Spring and the Gardenias outside my home had begun flowering, their fragrance enchanting the air in a lingering trail of scent. Around the corner from my house I’d found a lonesome and striking Southern Magnolia reaching out for a hug from all sides. All these and other factors considered, this is a storied and enchanting blend.

The forces present in it support the integration of the inner abundant wellspring while also enhancing the capacity to set our actions in accord with our visions.
