flower profile and essence creation story:

Pennyroyal was one of the first plants I noticed at the beginning of spring on the land I would soon after move to at which point they had begun to flower. Each time I would return to the spot where I had initially found them, I’d notice more and more of the pennyroyal plants spread low to the ground throughout the ‘back’ of the woods. It was in those instances that I witnessed their power of helping us to shift perception and expand perspective, able to see that there is more complexity and intricacy to what we have been seeing. This is is a preparation medicine, aiding us in getting ready for transmutation awaiting its divine time; something evidenced in the way their flowers bloom right in the cusp of winter and spring, primed to emerge into increased light after a time of incubation. It is for giving birth to the new aspects of self and those that had been suppressed, waiting to be uncovered, encoded. Pennyroyal essence, as a rebirthing medicine, is one that can promote important and needed shifts in consciousness, all the while helping to dissolve detrimental thought forms and bring clarity during moments of mental confusion. Along with this, the rebirthing surrender is one that allows us to release obsessive thinking ways or patterns of the mind which are rigid, not allowing for the flow required to experience a certain quality of expression.
