flower profile and essence creation story:

Crafted throughout the energy of an eclipse, through night and into day and into night again, this is an essence for going through the motions of massive changes and absolutions bringing about internal reconciliation and forward movement. The initial crafting process brought about clarity regarding this specific ally. When looking at the unripe berries directly on, I realized that the appearance of the berries was similar to that of the peyote cactus which contains mescaline, a potent medicine which brings about intense and sometimes uncomfortable but, perhaps, necessary visions. Poke, whose berries are generally known as toxic or poisonous, when used in flower essence form provides us with a frequency similar to that of a ‘trip’ that affords us profound perception and perspective, giving us a wider and more whole viewpoint of our situation. Poke helps us get to the root of matters, providing a solution to situations that are repetitive or lessons that keep coming around after we do not properly apply the wisdom shared through them. The Otherworld Shadow Dance takes us into the recesses of the soul and helps us to find the parts in hiding so that they can be reintegrated to purify the spiritual essence within once again.
