flower profile and essence creation story:

There are elements that enable us to perceive some ‘losses’ as ascensions or points when a certain energy chooses to evolve and transform itself. This is the frequency with which Datura’s essence heals. Datura, a plant of the nightshade family, high in alkaloids such as atropine and scopolamine and thus potentially toxic, is one who instructs us upon the realization that a certain death translates to eternity and that eventually we ascend to new spaces, perhaps through times when, externally, there seems to be little shifting yet a deep brewing ensues through the innerscapes. This wise teacher has walked with me in times of deep grief aiding in making the breakthrough even if just into a glimpse of the opening that occurs within such contractions. We observe that in those personal deaths we experience on a regular basis there is potential for alchemy which makes it so that this dying translates to a rebirthing of ourselves/senses, an ability to live with deeper appreciation for how we are edified even through what feels trying and leaves us grief-stricken. How we can grow and are fertilized by those soil soul shadow in sol processes... In some traditions Datura flower is given in very small and calculated doses to open up the airways during a respiratory crisis; an application mirroring the qualities that Datura has for helping to expel grief and sadness from our bodies which often times filters through our lungs in the form of mucus and waters, such as when we cry. Through continued application of the essence, perhaps on the heart, the womb, the third eye, the palms, the soles of the feet, or on the tongue, the brew begins to well and soon we expel old and maybe toxic thought forms, patterns, behaviors, ideas, programs, and indoctrinations that keep us bound to unproductive and unhealthy cycles. This essence is for unbinding and binding all the same. The communion affords us the courage to send stagnancy and confusion on its way, all while keeping our peace and properly reclaiming our abundant and fluid states of being. Like the Temperance card of the tarot, this essence provides us with a number of elements with which to build and evolve. Fire and water are two of the main ones, and this is the power of the Internal Flame Shift. These elements, when properly used, can promote an expansion of consciousness which helps to stimulate soul elevation and spiritual growth — you may find yourself perhaps “not intentionally” breathing more deeply and appreciating the air element and how it informs and relates to water and fire. These are the constitutional keys of the phoenix who rises from the ashes, rebirthed as an eternal being, capable of transcendent flight… so much so that they may not be perceived within density yet we may find them in a dream guiding us in that same ascending way. With this as a focused meditation alongside an ancient ancestral audible invocation the essence was charged with the power of the Phoenix. May they guide you into new forms. May you learn the power of shapeshifting glamour and how to call in/claim the all that you are without fear or hesitation.
