the story:

It’s truly been a longtime coming with this one. I’ve been having vivid dreams about Juniper berries for some time. In one, there was a girl who had Juniper berries in her hair - months later one of my apprentices shared with me how her hair had gotten caught in a Juniper shrub, like they were talking to her telling her to pay attention. We had received a very similar message for I had previously received the inspiration to craft a Juniper oil for the scalp - Juniper is useful for stimulating hair growth and treating conditions that contribute to the loss of hair. Affording this effect, they stimulate blood to the crown, not only promoting growth but also promoting an overall sensitivity in that region of our physical and auric being. Thus, our crown chakra experiences an upgrade and are antennas are strengthened. This stimulation is also partly responsibility for the relief of mental exhaustion that one experiences when working with this Woodland-scented plant medicine. Versatile in their use, Juniper berries have been revered as purifying, while Indigenous Americans have used them in cleansing ceremonies such as sweat lodge. With this in mind the oil has been charged to cleanse and purify self, times, and spaces. Corpses in Ancient ‘Egypt’ were anointed with Juniper oil, further speaking to the connection that this ally and aroma has to the there-beyond.
