I am thrilled to have contributed to this zine and now be carrying it in my shop. In it, you will find my write up on making decoctions, one of the ways I most commonly ingest plant medicine and which offers deep nourishment to body, heart, mind. There are also other write-ups by friends, peers, and herbalists on a number of herbal preparations which can be made in the home and shared with family and community. It’s a beautiful resource to share with you all; I’m grateful to have been called into this work. Check out the pictures for more details on the contents of the zine.

From the introduction:
“Medicine making recipes have been preserved and passed down through the generations. Some herbal preparations have been used and perfected for thousands of years - telling stories of people, place and perseverance. These traditions were kept sacred and alive by witches and wise women, midwives and medicine men who passed them along from family member to family member, neighbor to neighbor, teacher to apprentice. And now, we wish to pass our favorite recipes and methods of preparing herbal medicine along to you.”
